About the Foundation
When Tragedy Hits, You Shouldn’t Have to Walk Alone
The Footprints in the Sand Foundation is a 501 c (3) non-profit organization that helps children & their families whose lives have been affected by cancer. Through financial assistance as well as social, educational & psychological support services & programs we help to propel families forward building life long relationships.
The organization was founded in 2003 by William Villafranco to memorialize the death of William Ryan Villafranco.
Helping Local Children Survive Times of Crisis
Our mission is simple: to serve children in need. By creating, supporting, & locating programs that directly benefit the health & well being of children affected by cancer, the Foundation is working to better the lives of children & their families.
